About
One person. No handoffs.
Creative Impact Charleston is a one person consulting firm. You work with Richard May directly, from the first conversation to the last deadline.
Why the practice exists
Nonprofits in this city do not usually lack ideas. They lack someone whose whole job is to connect the pieces: the email list, the brochure, the press release, the grant narrative, the donation page. Those pieces get made by different people at different times, and they stop sounding like one organization.
Creative Impact Charleston does that connecting work. An extra pair of hands covering the four components of a marketing plan: listen, clarify, build, deliver.
How the work runs
I deal directly with the principals and with the people responsible for execution. Nothing is handed to an account team, because there is no account team. When a project needs a designer, a writer, or a printer, I bring them in and manage them.
The engagement does not end at launch. I stay on to maintain the work and follow up, which is usually where small organizations lose ground.
